Lesson Attendance
Students are expected to attend at least four lessons per month, consistently and on time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. (Emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis.)
Practice Expectations
Progress happens when students engage consistently, lessons are only part of the process.
Students should show regular effort in practice, even if progress feels slow.
I work best with students who are invested in developing their skills over time.
Progress takes time and consistent effort, but I also believe students thrive when they enjoy the process. I encourage healthy practice habits, but not pressure or perfectionism. This studio works best for families who support growth without burnout.
Lesson Format
Lessons are available in-person and virtually.
Students must bring all assigned materials (scales, etudes, music) to each lesson.
You’ll need your own violin in playable condition. Functional bow, working strings, properly sized.
A trial lesson is available for new students. Ongoing lessons depend on fit and mutual agreement.
Payment
Lesson payments are due at the beginning of each month, based on your scheduled time slot.
I accept Venmo, Zelle, or cash.
Missed lessons can be made up, but are not refunded or prorated, regardless of notice.
Ongoing lessons are considered a monthly commitment, please communicate any planned breaks in advance.
Trial lessons are paid individually at the time of scheduling.
Missed Lessons and Makeups
Monthly tuition secures your reserved time slot.
If you give at least 24 hours’ notice, your missed lesson will be made up, either based on availibility or during a future 5-week month.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a makeup, except in emergencies.
Students who frequently cancel or reschedule may forfeit their spot.
Vacations & Extended Time Off
Monthly tuition is required to hold your spot, even if you're missing one or two weeks.
If you plan to miss the entire month, you may skip payment, but your time slot may be released and offered to another student.
