Teaching Philosophy
I teach violin with a focus on strong foundational technique and building a personal connection to music.
My approach blends elements of the Suzuki method and traditional European pedagogy, with Etudes such as Mazas, Sevcik, Wohlfahrt, Kreutzer, tailored to each student’s needs, pace, and learning style.
My lessons are structured and flexible, and I believe in meeting students where they are, while encouraging consistent growth through curiosity, effort, and steady progress.
I believe that kindness, patience, and attunement are essential factors to lessons. Music builds not only notes on a page, but also focus, confidence, self-trust, and emotional resilience. I aim to create a space where every student feels seen, supported, and capable.
