I teach violin with two priorities: building strong technique and nurturing a personal connection to music.
I work with students who are open to guidance and willing to engage in the learning process. You don’t need to know everything, just come ready to try, and we’ll build from there.
I stay attuned to each student’s pace, learning style, and energy. I pay close attention to what works, adjust when needed, and keep lessons focused without being rigid. Connection and humor are part of the process, but so is structure.
Lessons are clear, steady, and tailored. I don’t believe in rushing milestones or cutting corners, but I also don’t teach in a one-size-fits-all way. The goal is progress that feels real and sustainable.
Learning violin is about more than playing notes. It’s a space to develop focus, self-trust, and emotional depth. Beyond the instrument, music teaches patience, focus, and emotional resilience as well, skills that carry far beyond the practice room.
